“Your Name.” Theme Song Announced as This Year’s Most Popular Anime Song In Karaoke

The largest Japanese online karaoke service chain DAM today announced this year’s provisional rankings for the most popular songs in each categories, counted between January 1 and November 30, 2017. Defeating last year’s champion Motohiro Hata’s “Himawari no Yakusoku” (Stand By Me Doraemon), RADWIMPS’ “Zenzenzense (movie ver.)” (Your Name.) is confirmed as this year’s most sung anime song. The four-member rock band is also chosen as “The most popular artist” of this year.
