Two More Badminton Players Join the Cast of “Hanebado!” TV Anime


Two more cast members have been announced for Hanebado!, an upcoming TV anime that is based on the badminton sports manga by Kosuke Hamada.



In Hanebado!, voice actress Yūna Mimura plays Riko Izumi (left), the vice captain of the Kitakamachi High School babminton club who uses her sharp analytical skills to help the team win matches, while Konomi Kohara plays Erina Fujisawa (right), the meddlesome manager of the Kitakamachi High School badminton club. 



The original Hanebado! manga is serialized in Kodansha’s good! Afternoon seinen manga magazine. The Hanebado! TV anime is directed by Shinpei Ezaki and features animation by Liden Films. The story follows the adventures of the women’s badminton club at Kitakamachi High School.

Hanebado! will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo MX, Kansai TV, BS11, and AT-X beginning in July of 2018.
