Tragedy Accelerates in “Code Geass” 2nd Compilation Film Teaser

Following the key visual released on Tuesday, the official website for the three-part compilation film project based on the two Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion TV anime series posted a 30-second teaser trailer for its next second part “Handou” (literally means Rebellious Road) today. As with the first one, all of the character dialogues are re-recorded by the original voice cast. The second film is scheduled to be released in 79 theaters across Japan on February 10, 2018.


The first part “Koudou” (Founding Road) was released in Japan on October 21, 2017, ranking 9th its opening weekend box office. Its DVD/Blu-ray will be available on February 23, 2018, then the third part “Oudou” (Royal Road) will begin its theatrical run in May 2018.

The first Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion TV anime was aired for 25 episodes in Japan from October

2006 to March 2007, then the second season Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 followed with another

25 episodes from April to September of 2008. Both seasons are now available to Crunchyroll members in

the United States and Canada.
