Touya Mikanagi’s Fantasy Manga “Karneval” Gets Musical Adaptation in Spring 2016

It was confirmed with the rap-around jacket come with the latest 16th volume published in Japan on October 24 that a musical adaptation of Touya Mikanagi’s fantasy manga series Karneval is in the works for spring of 2016. Its official website and Twitter also opened. Judging by the official website’s URL (http://karneval.eigeki.jp/), the musical is expected to be produced by Eigeki (Super Musical Saint Seiya, Hamatora The Stage). 

 

The manga has been serialized in Ichijinsha’s Comic ZERO-SUM since its October 2007 issue. The recently bankrupt Manglobe produced its 13-episode TV anime adaptation aired in Japan from April to June 2013.
