The racing and Vocaloid fandoms meet in the Hatsune Miku GT Project, offering alternate versions of Miku that range from race queens to transforming cars. The latest addition to the list is the former — designed by Taiki and Shigeto Koyama specifically for the Project’s 2015 Thailand race — and she’ll soon be available as a figure.
This sun-tanned figure comes decked out in a tiara and logo-emblazoned race queen costume, standing approximately 250mm tall. Sculpted by Yokoyama and painted by PINPOINT, this prepainted figure will be released in July, but preorders are currently open via Good Smile Company. She’s 11,852 yen (about $104.12) before tax.
Preorders open today and run until February 23.
