XSEED’s upcoming Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns has been confirmed to feature a staggering amount of text — in fact, it will include more text than any other entry in the series before.
That translates to 2 million characters of Japanese text, which is actually more than its predecessor, which had about 1.7 million characters. That’s a lot of work for the localization team to take on, but that means there’s going to be a lot to wade through in-game, too.
You can check out more information over at the game’s localization blog. But until then, we’ve got to keep waiting for it to hit store shelves, which is a pretty arduous wait so far since the last game was so addictive. Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns is currently slated for a Q1 2017 release.
