‘Star Trek: TNG,’ William Shatner, Sean Astin, Evan Peters Q&A’s, Creator Sessions Headline Programming At Wizard World Nashville Comic Con

Question-and-answer sessions featuring “Star Trek: The Next Generation” bridge crew members Jonathan Frakes, Levar Burton, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner and Gates McFadden, “Star Trek” star William Shatner, Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and Michael Rooker (“The Walking Dead”) highlight the diverse programming schedule at Wizard World Nashville Comic Con, next Friday through Sunday, September 26-28 at the Music City Center. Most programming is included as part of the standard event admission.

Some of the highlights of the more than 70 scheduled panels are:

  • Interactive Q&A sessions with the Next Gen crew, in pairs: Sirtis and Dorn (Saturday, noon), Burton and Spiner (Saturday, 3 p.m.) and Frakes and McFadden (Sunday, 2:30)

  • Q&As with Shatner (Saturday, 5:30 p.m), Astin (Saturday, noon), Peters (Sunday, 12:30 p.m.), Rooker (Saturday, 4:45 p.m.), Eliza Dushku (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” Sunday, 1:30 p.m.), Alan Tudyk (“Firefly,” Saturday, 1 p.m.), WWE Superstar Kane® (Saturday, 2:45 p.m.) and Divas The Bella Twins™ (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.), Jon Bernthal (“The Walking Dead,” Saturday, 4 p.m.), the “Charmed” duo of Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs (Sunday, noon) and others

  • Informative discussions with noted creators Peter Bagge and Phil Ortiz (Friday, 5:30 p.m.), John Lucas and Roland Boschi (Saturday, 12:30 p.m.), Michael Golden (Saturday, 5:30 p.m.), Drew Geraci (Sunday, 2 p.m.) and more, many moderated by Danny Fingeroth

  • Screening of the Season 2 Finale of “Arrow” (Saturday, 2 p.m.), followed by discussion with series star Manu Bennett (2:45 p.m.)

  • Latest version of “Con Radio Live” featuring Wizard World’s own Mo Lightning and Aaron Sagers and featuring special guest Rooker (Saturday, 5 p.m.)

  • Costume contests for adults (Saturday, 7 p.m.) and kids (Sunday, 2 p.m.), plus cosplay-themed sessions with Wizard World personality Damian Beurer and others

  • Sci-Fi Speed Dating (Fri., 6 p.m.; Sat., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m.), 90-minute sessions

  • Meet-and-greets with Jason DavidFrank (Saturday, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday, 10:30 a.m.)(Paid events)

Unless noted, programming events take place in the designated General Programming Rooms at the Music City Center.
