Smoke, Sweets, and Spies Prevail in “ACCA 13-ku Kansatsu-ka” Trailer

A new trailer is now available online for ACCA 13-ku Kansatsu-ka (“13 Wards Observation Department”), an upcoming TV anime based on the espionage thriller manga by Natsume Ono (Ristorante ParadisoHouse of Five Leaves).



The story of ACCA 13-ku Kansatsu-ka is set in the kingdom of Dowa, which is divided into 13 wards. In these wards, an intelligence organization known as ACCA has kept the peace for nearly 100 hundred years. Jean Otus, a deputy director of the inspection division for ACCA, is slowly drawn into a world of intrigue and espionage. 



The original ACCA manga was serialized from 2013 – 2016 in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan seinen manga magazine. ACCA 13-ku Kansatsu-ka is directed by Shingo Natsume (Space Dandy, One-Punch Man) and features animation by Madhouse. The series will broadcast on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and TV Setouchi beginning on January 10, 2017, with later broadcasts to follow on BS-11 and AT-X.
