Smart Phones and Teens Are a Killer Combo in “King’s Game” Trailer


Don’t check your texts! A new trailer is now available for King’s Game: The Animation, an upcoming TV anime based on the horror novel by Nobuaki Kanazawa in which a classroom of 32 high school students are forced to play a deadly game via instructions sent to their smart phones by an enigmatic figure known only as “the King”. The trailer highlights the theme song “FEED THE FIRE” by coldrain.



The story of King’s Game focuses on Nobuaki Kanazawa, a transfer student who is reluctant to get too close to his classmates. One day, everyone in class receives mysterious orders on their smart phones from someone calling themself “the King”. The students must complete the King’s assignments in 24 hours or face deadly consequences… 


King’s Game: The Animation is directed by Noriyoshi Sasaki and features animation by Seven. The series will broadcast on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and BS11 beginning in October of 2017.
