Skottie Young is Gert from “I Hate Fairyland!”

Man, oh man, have you heard about cool cat Skottie Young and his slew of AMAZING COMIC BOOKS? Of course you have, there’s literally no way you haven’t. Skottie fans, rejoice! We recently got to sit down with him and pick his brain about, well, everything!

Skottie Young is one of those guys who can do just about anything in the world of writing and art. He is both a comic book writer and artist as well as a children’s book illustrator, and boy has he been around the block a few times. Young started his career working for Marvel in 2000. His early projects included Human Torch, New X-Men, and the Spider-Man Legend of the Spider Clan mini-series.

Young went on to helm as the New York Times Best Selling and Eisner Award Winning artist for the Marvel series, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. He is also the illustrator of Neil Gaiman’s New York Times Best Selling children’s book, Fortunately, the Milk.  He now writes and illustrates his own independent book for Image Comics, I Hate Fairyland

Really, we could list Skottie’s credits for days, but we think you should settle in and hear it all from the man himself. Let’s go!
