“Seven Deadly Sins” Spinoff Manga to Start Next Month in Shonen Magazine

The series Seven Deadly Sins (not sin Nanatsu no Taizai, the one that came before it) has been running for 24 volumes. As of next month, fans will be getting a look back into an important event in the lore of the series with Seven Deadly Sins: Seven Days.

Based on the light novel of the same name, Seven Deadly Sins: Seven Days will explore Elaine’s meeting with Ban in his bandit days. Elaine, tasked with protecting the Fountain after her brother’s disappearance, meets with Ban, whom she initially distrusts but later learns is trustworthy. The seven days following this meeting form the central action of the series, as the two grow closer to each other.

Seven Deadly Sins: Seven Days will start its run in the February edition of Shonen Magazine, which goes on sale January 17.
