Pretty Sword Boys Help You Save Money on Their New T-Card

If you love the boys of Touken Ranbu – Hanamaru, you might want to look into getting a TSUTAYA points card — because that’s the latest way everyone’s favorite sword boys are helping to save the day.

T Cards are one of Japan’s most common point cards programs, accepted at TSUTAYA stores and other associated retailers. Starting today online and February 3 at participating stores, you can buy a card featuring character art of Touken Ranbu – Hanamaru‘s Yamatonokami Yasusada, Kashuu Kiyomitsu, Heshikiri Hasebe, Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, and Mikazuki Munechika. Cards are 500 yen each. The art above will look like this on the card:

Starting tomorrow, visitors to the shops may also hear advertisements for the special cards as presented by the five characters’ voice actors.

Holders of Touken Ranbu cards will also be able to use their cards to enter different lotteries for themed prizes. From February 3 to April 30, you can use 10 T-points to purchase entry into a raffle for one of five A3-sized prints of the above art autographed by the voice actors. Renting the Touken Ranbu – Hanamaru DVD using your T-card between February 3 and March 31 will make you eligible to win one of three B3-sized posters, and buying said DVD will net you a poster calendar (while supplies last).

Cards will be available online from today until January 31, 2018, and at shops from February 3 to May 31, 2017. Visit the official campaign site for more information.
