Pipe Cleaners Come to Life in “aiseki MOGOL GIRL”

Strawberry Meets Pictures, the studio that brought us gdgd Fairies, is wreaking havoc again with a new “mogol art” stop-motion animation TV series entitled aiseki MOGOL GIRL.



Announced at the “Sendai Anime Fes” and described as “warmly surreal”, the series will feature colorful mascot characters made out of pipe cleaners. In Japanese, “aiseki” refers to the situation of sharing a table at a restaurant with a person you don’t know.



aiseki MOGOL GIRL features the voice talents of Ryo Kato as Fuyumi and Natsuko Hara as Haruko. The series will hit Japanese airwaves in October of 2017.
