“One Piece” and “Dragon Ball Z” Fighters Preview Cross-Versus Action

Around the time One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum launched in Japan, Bandai Namco announced plans for cross-versus multiplayer with Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden. Now that we’re officially in November the update has gone live, and you can see a sample of the universe-mixing action in a new promo.

While players with copies of either game can play one another both locally and online, they’ll be restricted to choosing characters from their respective games. Those who choose to pop in Great Pirate Colosseum, for instance, will just be able to access One Piece characters, and vice versa.
