New Threats Arise in Bungo Stray Dogs Season 3 TV Anime Trailer

 

An explosive new trailer highlights the conflicts to come in Season 3 of Bungo Stray Dogs, the continuing TV anime adaptation based on the series of light novels written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa that re-imagine famous Japanese and Western authors as super-powered detectives and super-powered criminals battling it out for control of Yokohama.

 

 

Bungo Stray Dogs Season 3 will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:

 

  • Tokyo MX: every Friday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on April 12, 2019.
  • TV Aichi: every Friday during the 27:05 time slot beginning on April 12, 2019.
  • KBS Kyoto: every Friday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on April 12, 2019.
  • Sun TV: every Friday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on April 12, 2019.
  • BS11: every Friday during the 23:00 time slot beginning on April 12, 2019.
  • tvk: every Thursday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on April 18, 2019.
  • WOWOW: every Wednesday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on April 17, 2019.
  • d Anime Store: every Friday during the 22:00 time slot beginning on April 12, 2019.

 

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 27:05 time slot on Friday evening is actually on Saturday morning at 3:05 AM JST.

Bungo Stray Dogs is directed by Takuya Igarashi and features animation production by BONES. Crunchyroll currently streams the first two seasons of the TV anime as well as the Bungo Stray Dogs theatrical anime film, and describes the story of the series as follows:

 

Kicked out of his orphanage and on the verge of starving to death, Nakajima Atsushi meets some strange men. One of them, Dazai Osamu, is a suicidal man attempting to drown himself in broad daylight. The other, bespectacled Kunikida Doppo, nervously stands by flipping through a notepad. Both are members of the “Armed Detective Agency” said to solve incidents that even the military and police won’t touch. Atsushi ends up accompanying them on a mission to eliminate a man-eating tiger that’s been terrorizing the population…
