The Chozo Art Collection, creators of highly detailed Bakemono no Ko and Dragon Ball figures, are reimagining one of the most memorable classic anime scenes in 3D: Maetel’s farewell kiss to Tetsuro before they part ways in the Galaxy Express 999 film.
The polyresin, PVC, and ABS figure stands approximately 200mm tall and comes pre-painted. The sculpt was produced by Takumi Kobo, who was also responsible for the highly detailed (and highly weird) Parasyte figure.
The 999 figure will ship out starting in late May, but is available for preorder now for 41,940 yen (about $368.20) from AmiAmi. Limit 3 per household.
