Natsume Ono’s “ACCA: 13” Manga Gets Stage Play Adaptation in November

It is officially confirmed today that a stage play adaptation of Natsume Ono’s ACCA Jusan-ku Kansatsu-ka/ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. manga is now in the works by Nelke Planning (The Prince of Tennis musicals) for November 2017. Its official website and Twitter also open today, posting a first visual of its two protagonists: Hirofumi Araki as Jean Otus and Haruki Kiyama as Nino.


34-year-old Araki is a member of young male actors group D-BOYS and is best known as Sadaharu Inui in The Prince of Tennis musicals and live-action film. 32-year-old Kiyama has performed in various musical plays/shows in the U.S., including High school musical on stage and Michel Jackson Man In The Mirror, and recently played Itsuki Otori in the Star-Myu musical this spring. 


ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. is set in a world divided into 13 wards and focuses on the people who work for the Observation Department of the world’s only unified organization ACCA. It was

serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Comic Gangan from 2013 to 2016, and its 12-episode TV anime

adaptation was aired from Janaury to March of this year.
