LiSA Sings “Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale” Theme Song in Chinese

Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, the 119-minute anime film based on Reki Kawahara’s sci-fi action light novel series, is set to be released finally in the mainland China on September 15 (already released in Taiwan in February, Hong Kong in March). And it is confirmed that LiSA, the original singer of the film’s theme song “Catch the Moment” sings the song in Chinese by herself for the market.

LiSA posted a short clip of the Chinese version on her official Twitter today. She says in the tweet that singing in Chinese was “so difficult to make me cry, but it was very fun!”

“Catch the Moment” was released as LiSA’s 11th single on February 15, 2017. It ranked 4th in Oricon’s

weekly single chart selling 27,000 units in its first week.
