Land of the Lustrous teams up with Tasaki for a glamorous promotion!

Japanese jeweler Tasaki has released an exclusive Land of the Lustrous collection featuring the gems of the mineral-based main cast of the upcoming Fall anime based on the manga by Haruko Ishikawa. The manga began publication in 2012 and has recently been localized to the United States through Kodansha.

A promotional page on their site includes the new line of necklaces, each featuring a gem of one of the cast members along with their character profile, including favorites such as Phosphophyllite, Rutile, Bort, and Adamant-sensei, and more!

Tasaki also has a special Land of the Lustrous exhibit going on tour along with their collection from August 2nd to October 10th through their Shinjuku, Ginza, and Osaka locations with promotional artwork, a statue of the protagonist Phosphophyllite, exclusive prize tote bags, and an animated holographic display!

Land of the Lustrous is set in a world long after the extinction of mankind in which crystalline-based lifeforms known as the Lustrous have evolved to take humanities place. The Lustrous must fend off the Lunarians, strange aliens who reside on the moon and invade the earth to capture the Lustrous, breaking apart their fabulous forms and shaping them into jewelry…

Reports that Tasaki is staffed by moon people remain unconfirmed.
