While its TV anime adaptation has been aired in Japan, it is announced in this year’s 12th issue of Weekly Big Comic Spirits (Shogakukan) published today that Jun Mayuzuki’s romance manga Koi wa Ameagari no You ni (Love is Like After the Rain) will end serialization with tow more chapters.
The manga focusing on a slow and gentle relationship between 17-year-old high school girl Akira Tachibana and 45-year-old Masami Kondo, who is the manager of the family restaurant she works at part-time, was first serialized in the publisher’s Monthly Spirits from August 2014 to January 2016, then has moved to the current magazine since its 8th issue of 2016. The manga will end with its 82nd chapter.
As a countdown promotion for it, a special PV featuring the anime’s ED song “Ref:rain” sung by Aimer is now streamed on NoitaminA’s official YouTube channel. The clip will be available till 23:59
on April 1 (JST).

The TV anime adaptation animated by Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, The Ancient Magus’ Bride) premiered
in Fuji TV’s NoitaminA programming block on January 11, and has been also streamed exclusively on
Amazon Prime Video.
And the live-action film starring Nana Komatsu (Akira Tachibana) and Yo Oizumi (Masami Kondo) is set to
open in Japan on May 25, 2018.
