“Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san” Manga Author Confirms TV Anime Project in 2018

It is officially announced in the latest August 2017 issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday/Get the Sun (Gessan), released today in Japan on July 12, that a TV anime adaptation of Soichiro Yamamoto’s comedy manga Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san (Skilled Teaser Takagi-san) is now in the works for 2018. Other details including its production company and voice cast members will be announced later.

 

The manga author also confirmed the news and posted an announcement art featuring the two main characters, Nishikata-kun and Takagi-san, on his official Twitter, with simply saying “An anime adaptation of ‘Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san’ is decided. Thank you very much.”

 

 

The official Twitter of the magazine also posted the cover image of the latest issue revealing the news.

 


  

The manga’s next 6th tankobon volume is scheduled to be released in Japan on August 10, and its 2,800-yen

special edition comes with a figure of the main heroine Takagi-san.
