“Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” Begins Rolling Out 30th Anniversary Plans

On January 1, 1987, Shonen Jump introduced readers to a sort of Victorian Fist of the North Star with its debut of Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. 30 years later, the manga is running in the magazine’s seinen sibling Ultra Jump and more bizarre than ever with perhaps its weirdest phase, “Jojolion.” Read some of the plot description on Wikipedia and see if you can figure what that’s all about.

The January 2017 issue of Ultra is out on December 19th, and an early look at the periodical has offered a preview of the honors, celebrations and projects to come.
