Japanese Fans Get Their Hands On Kaiyodo’s Western Lowland Gorilla Figure – Chaos Ensues

Kaiyodo, the company behind Revoltech lines and its legendary Toy Story Woody, have introduced something new that should inspire plenty of figure photographers. Their Sofubi line of dinosaurs, panda and other animals by Shinobu Matsumura debuted its Western Lowland Gorilla this week. The 15cm figure with 11 points of articulation sells for 2,138yen, and though a certain zoo incident doesn’t loom large in Japan, there are collectors who can’t get enough of the apes.
