Japan Box Office: “Sword Art Online The Movie” Has Earned 1.7 Billion Yen in 4 Weeks

According to the latest box office report, Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, the all-new anime film based on Reki Kawahara’s sci-fi action light novel series, still ranked 5th in its 4th weekend of March 11-12, and has earned about 1.7 billion yen from its domestic run. Internationally, the 119-minute film also ranked in the weekend box office top 10 in Thailand (4th), Korea (10th), Taiwan (3rd), and Mexico (9th).  

 

Moviegoers in its next 5th week (March 18-24) will receive a strip of 35mm film frames in the order of arrival.
