In addition to using traditional kabuki and Chinese opera motifs, Tokyo-based healthcare product company Isshindo Honpo has released many face packs collaborating with internationally famous franchise such as KISS, Marvel Super Heroes, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Attack on Titan. The total sales of the collaboration series has reached 1.3 million units so far.
Its next 16th partners are two of Osamu Tezuka’s representative manga works, Tetsuwan Atom/Astro boy and Black Jack. They will be released on the author’s birthday, November 3, which is also a national holiday of Japan, Culture Day. The price for the two-pack set is 900 yen (about 7.5 US dollars).
