i☆Ris Member Yu Serizawa Voices Main Heroine in TV Anime “3D Kanojo: Real Girl”

The official website for the upcoming TV anime based on Mao Nanami’s 3D Kanojo: Real Girl romance manga today announced its six main voice cast members, including Yu Serizawa (Mirei Minami in PriPara/voice actress idol unit i☆Ris member) as the main heroine Iroha Igarashi and Teppei Uenishi as the male protagonist Hikaru Tsutsui. Uenishi is a rookie voice actor managed by the same agency with Serizawa, 81produce, and Hikaru is his first main anime character.

 

The manga was serialized in Kodansha’s female manga magazine Dessert for 47 chapters from September 2011 to July 2016 and compiled in 12 tankobon volumes. The story focuses on a six-month love relationship between otaku high school boy Hikaru Tsutsui who is interested only in manga and games, and Iroha Igarashi, a bishoujo girl who is known to be easy with boys.

 

Takashi Naoya (Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru-) serves as director at Hoods Entertainment (Märchen

Mädchen), alongside series composition writer Deko Akao (Koi wa Ameagari no You ni) and character

designer Satomi Kurita (Hina Logi ~from Luck & Logic~). It is set to premiere on Nihon TV’s midnight

programming block “AnichU” in April 2018.

 Mitsuya Takanashi: Takuma Terashima (Ittoki Otoya in Uta no Prince-sama)

 Sumie Ayado: Reina Ueda (Lily Shirogane in Aikatsu Stars!)

 

 

In addition, the theme song “Daijina Koto” (A Precious Thing) is confirmed to be performed by three-

member Japanese rock band Quruli (the anime’s offcial site has posted a 15-second PV introducing

the song, but it is region-locked to the U.S.)
