In addition to the previously reported events in Japan and Taiwan, Sony Music Artists announced yesterday that 20-year-old anime voice actress Inori Minase has also cancelled her appearance at the advance screening event of the first episode of the upcoming Masamune-kun’s Revenge TV anime at Odaiba Cinema Mediage in Tokyo on December 10. She recently received murder threats which were believed to be sent from Taiwan via the internet.
She is cast as one of the heroines, Yoshino Koiwai, and was scheduled to join the event with Ayaka Ohashi, who plays the main heroine in the show, Aki Adagaki. As Minase’s replacement, the organizer announced Azusa Tadokoro, who is cast as Tae Futaba, will appear the stage.
Meanwhile, The Central News Agency in Taiwan reported last Friday that Taiwan Police had already arrested a male suspect in his 20s from Kaohsiung and sent the case to the public prosecutor’s office
on a charge of blackmail on November 19. His motive has not been revealed yet.
Minase is best known as Chino in Is the Order a Rabbit? and Hestia in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up
Girls in a Dungeon?. Her third single as a solo singer, “Starry Wish” (ViVid Strike! ED) was released
from King Records on November 9, and she was scheduled to appear the promotional events for the
single across Japan and in Taiwan from last weekend, but they were all cancelled.
