Gust’s Magical Girl RPG “Blue Reflection” Previewed in First Promo

Gust first revealed details for its magical girl RPG Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions back in August. It’s coming out in Japan in multiple editions on March 30, 2017, and you can see the first promotional video below for a mix of everyday school life and magical girl transformations.

Cast members include Ayaka Suwa (Miki in Yowamushi Pedal) as Chihiro Inoue and Ayane Sakura (Cocoa in Is the order a rabbit?) as Yuri Saiki, among others. Here’s an overview from a previous post:

The setting of Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions is a school in modern day Japan. With the introduction of social networking sites and smartphones comes new ways to communicate with people. However, the essence of interaction between people does not change no matter the era. “Even if it’s small, by taking someone’s hand, it is possible to obtain greater power and happiness.” In Blue Reflection, connections and the human essence are the themes. It is a “heroic RPG” that depicts a life-sized projection of female youth.

Blue Reflection will be available in a standard edition, Premium Box, and Special Collection Box in Japan. Pre-orders are live now, and first-print bonuses include an original theme and a downloadable in-game theme.
