Yoshiyuki Tomino, the man most famous for creating Mobile Suit Gundam, will be taking to the Japanese airwaves on NHK Radio 2 to talk about his life and work as an anime director on a program entitled Bunka Kouenkai (“Culture Lecture”). The program airs from 9:00 – 10:00 PM JST on December 04, 2016.
The subject of the program is “The Strength to Keep Working”, and during the lecture Tomino will explore his personal work philosophy, the troubles that accompany creating a hit series, various experiences from his career, and how he finds the motivation to remain productive after decades in the business.
“If you keep in mind the generations yet to come,” Tomino says. “You will find the strength to keep working.”
