GONZO Works on Anime Production of Saint Seiya Spin-Off Saintia Shō

The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Chimaki Kuori’s Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō manga is today updated with a poster visual featuring its four main characters: Shoko, Athena, Eris, and Milo. It is also confirmed that GONZO (Space Battleship Tiramisu) works on anime production, in cooperation with Toei Animation that works on planning and producing. The latter has directly animated most of the Saint Seiya anime series since the 1980s, except Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas (2009-2011) by TMS Entertainment.   

 

Masato Tamagawa (Nurse Witch Komugi) serves as series director, alongside co-character designer Keiichi Ichikawa (Saint Seiya Omega Chapter New Cloth) and Fumina Nishino (Hitorijime My Hero), and series composition writer Ikuko Takahashi (Blue Exorcist, Star-Mu).

 

And four additional voice cast are announced:

  • Cassiopeia Erda: Ayana Taketatsu (Azusa Nakono in K-ON!

The TV anime Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video Channel (Sky PerfecTV!

Anime Set for Prime Video) and ANIMAX on PlayStation (PS4) at 19:00 on December 10, 2018 (JST), then

will be also aired on the ANIMAX TV channel (BS/CS, CATV,IPTV) on December 24.
