Sometimes a giant, radioactive, fire-spewing dinosaur needs to pamper itself, and soon Toho Studios own Godzilla will have that chance at a four-day collaboration event held at Spa Resort Hawaiians, a liesure facility in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
Visitors to the event will be treated to all sorts of neat displays, including a 4 meter (13 feet) tall model of the titular monster from Shin Godzilla, a 2 meter (6.6 feet) tall model of “Godzilla Earth” from the theatrical anime film series, and various suits used in the filming of the live-action Godzilla movies. Additionally, the Spa Resort Hawaiians shuttle bus will be decorated with Godzilla-themed wrapping artwork from April 24th.
The collaboration event runs from May 03 – 06, 2018, and it’s designed to coincide with the release of the Godzilla – City on the Edge of Battle, the 2nd in the series of 3DCG theatrical anime films with direction by Kōbun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita and animation by Polygon Pictures and TOHO Animation. Godzilla – City on the Edge of Battle hits theaters in Japan on May 18, 2018.
