The latest trailer for Yomawari: Midnight Shadows invites you to enter the world of the game — quite literally — in a 360 experience that will give you a taste of the horrors coming later this month.
The sequel to Nippon Ichi’s Yomawari: Night Alone follows Haru and Yui, two best friends lost in town after dark. The two were separated from each other on their way home from watching the fireworks, and now they must brave the darkness to find each other safely.
The 360 trailer features Haru looking for Yui in a strange house. As she moves forward, the viewer can pan around to see game screenshots, text, and other game elements. You might want to keep an eye out behind you…
Computer users can clip and “pull” with their mouse to move around, while smart device users can simply turn and move the device to look around the environment.
Yomawari: Midnight Shadows comes out in Japan on August 24, with North American and European releases planned for October 24 and 27, respectively. You can preorder for PS4, PSVita, or Steam on the official NIS website.
