“GARO -VANISHING LINE-” Keeps It Classy With New Theme Songs

GARO -VANISHING LINE-, the latest entry in the Garo: The Animation franchise, is continuing in January of 2018 with a 2nd cour, and the next entry in the story-line is going to mix things up with a new opening theme and a new ending theme.



The new opening theme, entitled “HOWLING SWORD”, is performed by Shūhei Kita. The new ending theme, entitled “Promise”, is performed by Chihiro Yonekura. Both songs will be released on CD in Japan on February 28, 2018.



GARO -VANISHING LINE- is directed by Seong Ho Park and features animation by MAPPA. The series is available through streaming in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll and in an English dubbed version on Funimation, who describe the story as follows:

Highly advanced town – Russel City. While people enjoy its prosperity in the town, there is a huge conspiracy secretly going on which will shake the world. Sword, a man who notices its movement determines to throw himself into battles and reveal the conspiracy, but only to find a clue – “Eldorado”. At that time, Sword happens to meet a girl Sophie who has been looking for the meaning of “Eldorado”, a message left by her missing brother. These two, attracted by the word “Eldorado”, somehow feel invisible ties each other and start to act together. Their journey with mixed feelings now begins.
