Following the main thugs introduced two weeks ago, the official website and Twitter for the upcoming stage play inspired by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara’s post-apocalyptic action manga series Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star, titled “Legend of the Century’s End Thugs,” today also posted three cast visuals of Jagi, the third of the four Hokuto brothers, portrayed by Nobuaki Kakuda (Seido Kaikan Karate practitioner), Kozo Takeda (former kickboxing champion), and Keiichi Yamamoto (comedian). Jagi is the only main character from the manga who is confirmed to appear in the thugs-featured stage play.
The stage play directed by Yu Murai (KPR/Kaimaku Pennant Race) is set to be performed at Theater G-Rosso in Tokyo eight times from September 6 to 10. Monsieur Yoshisaki’s band Crystal King, who performed the first OP song for the TV anime in the mid-1980s, “Ai o Torimodose!,” joins the stage to perform the song with six-member idol group AouP in the opening.
