“Engaged to the Unidentified” Anime Voice Actresses Celebrate Manga’s 100th Chapter in Video Message

In the latest December 2017 issue just released today in Japan, Cherry-Arai’s comedy manga series Mikakunin de Shinkoukei/Engaged to the Unidentified has its memorial 100th chapter. For its celebration, the three main voice actresses of the TV anime: Yuri Yoshida (Mashiro Mitsumine), Haruka Terui (Kobeni Yonomori) and Eriko Matsui (Benio Yonomori) filmed their video messages at publisher Ichijinsha. Their three characters are also featured on the cover of the issue.

 

The author’s second serialization four-panel manga, following her debut work Sansha Sanyou/Three Leaves, Three Colors (2003-), has been running in Ichijinsha’s Manga 4-Koma Palette magazine since April 2009 and currently eight tankobon volumes are available in Japan.

 

Its TV anime adaptation, animated by Doga Kobo, was aired for 12 episodes from January to March 2013. The three main voice actresses, Yoshida, Terui and Matsui performed its OP theme song “Tomadoi

→Recipe” and ED theme “Masshiro World” as the unit Mikakuning!. The TV anime has been also available

to Crunchyroll members in USA and Canada.
