Manga artist Keitaro Yotsuya confirmed on his official Twitter that his comedy manga series Akuma no Memumemu-chan/Devil Memumemu will have its short web anime and smartphone game adaptations soon. The news was also revealed on the wrap-around band of the manga’s latest 4th tankobon volume released just today in Japan.

The manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s manga app Jump+ since July 2016. The story centers on an incubus girl Memumemu-chan who visits 16-year-old high school boy Hyouta Komukai in order to take his soul. Though she has no magical powers, no talent as a demon, and is afraid of sexual things, she tries her best to accomplish her mission.

The web anime is produced by Shaft (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, the Monogatari series) with Seiya Numata (Detective Opera Milky Holmes) directing. Karin Takahashi (Nono Morikubo in The

Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls) is cast as Memumemu-chan, alongside Aoi Yuuki as the male protagonist

Hyouta Komukai, Hiromi Igarshi as Hyouta’s classmate and the daughter of his apartment’s landlord,

Anzu Itsuki, and Mai Nakahara as the landlord.
