Square Enix held a Dragon Quest Monsters 20th anniversary live stream this week, and a few fresh announcements came along for the ride. The most immediate is Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland SP—a mobile remake of a 3DS remake that originated with 1998 Game Boy game Dragon Quest Monsters—which will be available in Japan tomorrow.
Terry’s Wonderland SP takes the remake and makes it more playable on smartphones, adds in new monsters and skills, and introduces a new El Dorado area. While its base price is ¥2,400 ($21), Square Enix will have it on sale for ¥1,600 ($14) until November 13.
Beyond the mobile entry, there’s also a brand new Dragon Quest Monsters game in the work for consoles. While there isn’t much information yet, the game will feature Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.
