Date A Live III Anime Teases January Debut with Visual, Cast Update

Koushi Tachibana’s Date A Live novels are getting a new anime adaptation, and this weekend’s Fantasia Bunko stage event introduced some fresh information. In addition to a new cast member and the opening and ending theme artists, the event revealed a January 2019 premiere for Date A Live III.

The anime is being directed by Keitaro Motonaga (Digimon Adventure tri., Date A Live I and II), with Hideki Shirane (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) back on series composition for the J.C. Staff production.

The new cast member is Ayumi Mano (Esaka-san in My Sister, My Writer), who will play Seventh Spirit Natsumi.

ARMS is on the opening theme.
