Crunchyroll Presents: Anime Awards 2016

Hey everyone! Crunchyroll is excited to announce its first ever Anime Awards! We’re taking a look back at the best shows, characters and moments from the anime we watched and loved in 2016, and we want YOU, the passionate anime community, to join us!

Over the past few months, we’ve worked with a panel of independent judges to help select nominees for each of our 14 awards categories. On January 3rd, anime fans across the globe can vote at theanimeawards.com for their top picks. There’s plenty of time over the holidays to catch up on any of the shows you’ve missed, so you can decide who deserves to take home the awards.

We’ll announce the winners on theanimeawards.com and on Crunchyroll’s social media on January 10th – saving our biggest award, Anime of The Year, to be announced live from the Crunchyroll Anime Awards Party in San Francisco on January 28. We’ll be sharing more information regarding the party soon, so stay tuned to see how you can celebrate an amazing year in anime with your fellow fans and the Crunchyroll team.

Get over to theanimeawards.com, check out the nominees, and prepare to make anime history!
