The highly anticipated first stage play adaptation of Yoichi Takahashi’s internationally popular soccer-themed manga series Captain Tsubasa, titled “Cho Taikan Stage/Super Experience Stage Captain Tsubasa,” finally started its 17-day run at Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi in Tokyo last Friday. Prior to its opening, a press preview of the dress rehearsal was made available to Japanese media, revealing its on-stage soccer playing performance. The play is scheduled to be performed at the venue 23 times till September 3.
