Fans of the manga series Black Clover might want to keep their ears open this Saturday and Sunday during this year’s Jump Festa — as there’s a big announcement planned.
Jump Festa is an annual exposition in Tokyo, centered mainly around properties run in Shonen Jump (though other companies like Square Enix have been known to show up to make big announcements). It’s a time for big guests, stage shows, special merch, and major announcements about everyone’s favorite Jump titles.
A recent Black Clover page teases their presence at Jump Festa, including a “Super Stage” event, limited edition goods, and a major announcement. What is it? Many suspect that it’s going to be a full length anime, in large part because a special OVA will be airing at Jump Festa. There are suspicions that this could be a test or lead-in for a full anime series. However, nothing is certain at this time.
This year’s Jump Festa will be taking place from December 17-18 at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.
