“Ace of the Diamond” Art Exhibition in Steps Up to the Plate in Ikebukuro

 

An exhibit focusing on the art of Yuji Terajima’s baseball manga and TV anime, Ace of the Diamond, is coming soon to Ikebukuro. The exhibit, entitled “Ace of the Diamond Exhibition: Manga & Anime – Dream of an Interleague Battle”, will feature more than 100 color illustrations by manga author Yuji Terajima as well as production materials from the Ace of the Diamond TV anime.

 

 

The exhibition will also feature limited edition character goods, including a muffler towel featuring chibi versions of the cast of Ace of the Diamond. The towel can be purchased alongside tickets to the exhibit. Advance tickets cost 1000 yen ($8.35 US) or 3000 yen ($25.05 US) with the muffler towel souvenir. The tickets are decorated with the logo of Seidou High, the school for which the protagonist, Eijun Sawamura, plays baseball.

 

 

“Ace of the Diamond Exhibition: Manga & Anime – Dream of an Interleague Battle” will run from November 05 to November 10, 2015, in the exhibition space on the 8th floor of the Tobu department store in Ikebukuro, Toshima, Tokyo, Japan.
