A new trailer and seven voice cast additions have been revealed for Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story, the 21st theatrical anime film in the Pokémon series.
The new cast members announced for Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story include:
Mana Ashida as Largo, a mysterious girl who hangs out alone in the forest.
Rina Kawaei as Lisa, a high school girl who is just starting out as a Pokémon trainer.
Gaku Hamada as Torito, a timid researcher who doesn’t have much confidence in himself.
Koji Ohkura as Kagachi, an incorrigible braggart who can’t stop telling fibs.
Masako Nozawa as Hisui, an odd old lady who dislikes Pokémon.
Shoko Nakagawa as Riku, Lisa’s younger brother who loves Pokémon.
And Kōichi Yamadera as Mayor Oliver, Largo’s father and the face of Fuura City.
In other Pokémon news, the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora will be appearing in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon for the Nintendo 3DS.
Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story is directed by Tetsuo Yamaji and features animation by OLM and Wit Studio. The film hits theaters in Japan on July 13, 2018. The story is set in Fuura City, where an annual “wind festival” is blessed by the appearance of the Legendary Pokémon Lugia. There Ash meets five new friends who are struggling to get along with their Pokémon, and the promise of the wind festival is complicated by the arrival of the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora.
